The Properties of Brass

Brass is easily machinable because of how malleable it is. Brass is used for many different parts including electrical connectors due to the conductivity of the material.  It is made up of primarily Zinc and Copper. Because there is no Iron in Brass, it does not rust and is less likely to corrode.

As a machine shop, we love Brass. In fact, if you are unsure of what material you need for your parts, and the usage aligns with that of Brass, we are likely to recommend this material for your job.
